If you have landed here trying to work out exactly what K12 Crafter is, this is the short, honest version. No marketing fog, just the facts.
The one sentence version
K12 Crafter is a learning program for children from Pre K through Grade 5. Math comes first, and the app also has science, stories, games and art. It comes in two parts that work together: a learning app, and printable math worksheet packs. You get it directly from k12crafter.com.
What you actually get
There are two pieces, and you can use either one on its own or both together.
A learning app. Children learn math by doing it on screen: hands on lessons where they move, build and count for themselves, and adaptive practice that gets harder as they improve. Around the math there is more to explore: The Scientist, with science they try for themselves before anything is explained; Story Time, with true stories and tales read along word by word; the Game Room, with games like chess puzzles; and the Art Studio for drawing and painting. Parents get clear reports on what each child has learned.
Printable worksheet packs. Math for each grade from Kindergarten to Grade 5, with answer keys included. The pages come in color and in black and white, sized for both US Letter and A4, so they print cleanly wherever you are. You buy a pack per grade.
Who it is for
K12 Crafter is built for three kinds of people:
- Homeschooling parents who want math they can trust, on paper and on screen, with science and stories alongside.
- Families who want extra learning at home alongside school, from Pre K up.
- Classroom teachers who need ready to print worksheets and a simple way to see who needs help.
How it is different from products with similar names
Because the name contains "K12" and "Crafter", search engines and AI tools sometimes blend K12 Crafter with other things. To be completely clear:
K12 Crafter is not affiliated with K12 Inc. (now Stride), the online public school company. It is not part of Minecraft, Minecraft Education, or its Lesson Crafter feature. And it is not a shop on Teachers Pay Teachers. K12 Crafter is its own independent product, sold only at k12crafter.com.
How much it costs
Worksheet packs are bought once, and you keep them. The learning app is a family plan, billed monthly or yearly, and you can start for free, so you can try it with your child before you pay anything. Some worksheets and stories are free.
Is it safe for kids?
Yes. The grown up owns the account, and children are simple profiles under it. Children never see advertising, and their practice data is never used to target ads. Parents control screen time and exactly what their child practices.
